Our broad expertise includes reviewing and analyzing institutional medical charts, providing expert witness legal consultation, as well as, developing, editing, and publishing written healthcare  information. Dr. Thomas G. Baumgartner was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Consultant Pharmacists of America, Inc. that provides expert consult in the areas of Clinical Nutrition (particularly parenteral nutrition/micronutrients) and Clinical Pharmacy Practices to institutions, corporate partners (to include editorial/writing skills) and other parties interested in sophisticated service, as well as, resolving legal and healthcare matters. He was also Clinical Professor at four Colleges (Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing) at the University of Florida. Baumgartner received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific (Cum Laude), Masters in Education from Stetson University (4.0) and Bachelors in Chemistry and Pharmacy from Rutgers College of Pharmacy. Honors have included the highest award given by the Florida Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (FSHP) ” Health-Systems Pharmacist of the Year”, the FSHP “Meritorious Service Award” and the FSHP “Distinquished Service Award”. Editorial honors have included more than a decade as Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Journal of Health-Systems Pharmacy and more than three decades as Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (FSPEN) publications. He is a past President of the American Society for Nutrition Support Services and has served three terms as President of FSPEN, where he recently received a Lifetime Service Award. In addition to his stellar career in Clinical Nutrition and Clinical Pharmacy (more than 100 publications, dozens of handbooks and textbooks), he has also been Director of Pharmacy and Deputy Hospital Administrator at two hospitals.Most recently, Baumgartner was invited to the distinguished National Academy of Practice in Pharmacy (50 US Pharmacists), an organization of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary health care individuals, who provide advice to congress and the Executive branch of the United States government.
